  • Beth has worked extensively with our Year 1, 2 and 3 students across the BA (Hons) Acting and BA (Hons) Actor Musician programmes, making a significant contribution to their artistic and personal development. Her work consistently builds students’ confidence, technical skill, resilience, and professional discipline. Beth is compassionate, honest and highly constructive, while also demanding the highest standards from those she works with. The productions she has led, including Our Town with our Year 2 Acting cohort, were of an excellent standard and provided rigorous, industry-facing training. Beth’s practice prepares students to meet the realities of professional performance with confidence and integrity.

  • Beth is a superb theatre maker. Her innate talent for creating theatre utilising young people’s words, ideas and passions makes for unique, moving performances which cut to the heart of the audience. She cares about the people she works with and collaborates with participants to give them appropriate artistic challenge and showcases great skill at bringing disparate ideas together coherently and beautifully.

Hannah Draper - Director of Creative Engagement, Harrogate Theatre

  • It has been such a joy having her in school, and it has been so amazing to see how comfortable and confident she has made the children whilst they've been pushed out of their 'normal' or 'comfort zone'. They have felt excited, supported and encouraged at every opportunity and it is always so wonderful when someone comes into school and really inspires the children in this way. Nothing has been too much to ask, and her clear boundaries and high expectations, whilst having so much fun with the kids, has meant they have flourished. It has been great to see some children shine particularly, but mainly how inclusive the process has been, and that has been because of Beth's brilliant efforts and encouragement.
